MEET THE TEAM
Ben Goss
Executive Producer
While growing up with his family in Augusta, Ben Goss could often be found behind the lens of a camera capturing memories at holiday gatherings, birthday parties and on family vacations. Ben graduated with a degree in Communications with a concentration in Film and Television from Augusta University in 2009. Two years later, Ben landed a production assistant position for WJBF NEWS Channel 6 in Augusta. And in less than two short years, Ben was promoted to the full-time evening news photojournalist at WJBF.
As a photojournalist, Ben not only gained valuable knowledge and extensive experience behind the camera, but he was privileged to interview and film a wide range of people from celebrities to world-class athletes including Super bowl champion, Dion Grant; Actor, Quinton Aaron from The Blind Side; and country music star Luke Bryan. Through these interactions, Ben realized his passion. More recently, Ben served as Marketing producer at WFXG, the local Fox affiliate in Augusta.

Ben Started RoundTable Media, A commercial Video production company, in 2015. Then in 2017, Ben launched an Internet show that would pave the way for what would become "WhatsUp?" today, it has grown into a half-hour weekly television show broadcasted on WBPI in the Augusta market and to thousands of online viewers through the television station's website.
While pursuing her degree in Communications at the University of South Carolina-Aiken, Tina Carter was privileged to begin working for the Miss USA pageant for the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Louisiana. After years of participating in all aspects of state pageant preparation and production, Tina used this experience to established The Miss Southeast Pageant, and for 10 years it awarded over $85,000 in Cash and Prizes. Tina has coached pageant contestants for numerous pageant systems, including USA, Miss America and Collegiate America; and has helped create Interview Award winners for Miss USA and Miss America.
Tina has judged on local, regional and state levels, including Alabama’s Miss High School and Collegiate America. In 2015, Tina combined her pageant experience with her education to provide Interview & Public Speaking consulting when she founded “Worthy,” a platform designed to empower and build confidence in others. She also expanded her reach in the community through various volunteer projects: and when given the opportunity to serve a worthwhile non-profit through a video production, she reached out to Ben Goss. And the rest, as they say, is history.
With a camera between them, Tina and Ben have spent years producing content for various organizations and individuals; and in 2021, the show “What’s Up” was born. In addition to hosting and co-producing “What’s Up”, Tina enjoys emceeing local events and teaching High School Communications, all while being the happy wife and homeschooling mom of two teenagers.
